We are currently recruiting for a Polish-speaking Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in Basildon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong finance experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day transactional duties, while also acting as a key point of contact for Polish-speaking clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices


• Managing accounts payable and receivable


• Bank reconciliations


• Assisting with month-end duties


• Handling queries via phone and email (in both English and Polish)


• Maintaining accurate financial records


• Supporting the wider finance team as required

• Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken)


• Previous experience in an accounts/finance role


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills


• Confident using Sage 50


• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships


• Proactive with a positive, team-oriented approach
