Accounts Assistant

St Albans

£26,000 pa

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are delighted to be supporting our reputable and established Client with their requirement for an Accounts Assistant who will be joining their busy and vibrant Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Processing a high volume of purchase invoices

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Preparing BACS/CHAPS payments

  • Dealing with queries

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Producing weekly reports

  • Ensuring timely payment of invoices

  • Ad hoc finance duties

Skills and attributes required:
  • You will have recent experience performing a range of Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable duties

  • AAT Studier (preferred)

  • An outgoing individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

  • A hard-working individual who has a commercial mindset who can manage their own time and workload

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
