Accounts Assistant, Maida Vale
Full-Time (Flexible Hours Considered) and fully office based, £28-30,000
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team. This is a varied role covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control duties.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain customer and supplier accounts.
- Raise invoices, issue statements, and allocate payments.
- Support direct debit collections and cashflow forecasting.
- Chase overdue payments and manage aged debt reports.
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate filing and support the Accounts Manager as needed.
- Proven experience in Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
- Credit Control experience or strong capability in this area.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
- Organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
