Accounting Specialist

We are looking for:

An Accounting Specialist to join our team and take responsibility for the financial closure of one or several legal entities within the same country

We count on you for:

• Running the closure for a given legal entity for IFRS on a monthly basis.


• Releasing financial packages for consolidation


• Performing accounting operations and internal controls according to accounting standards, Group guidelines and Local Operating Procedures


• Interact with stakeholders such as businesses and sites, Group consolidation and Country Accounting Managers to ensure reliability of financials


• Providing analysis, advice, and solving technical accounting issues


• Answering external auditor requests

• University degree in accounting or finance, ideally with certification in international accounting


• At least 2\-3 years of experience in accounting or audit. Experience working with French accounting plan is preferred


• IFRS knowledge


• SAP knowledge


• Team spirit, proactivity


• Fluency in English (other languages are a plus)

• The Portuguese annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: 19,000\.00€ to 26,640\.00€. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
