Overview

Infinity Financial Solutions Limited are excited to seek an Accountant to join our fast\-growing, dynamic team. The Accountant position is a newly created role, reporting directly to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate would be within a commutable distance to Salisbury (we are currently looking to relocate from Fordingbridge)

Responsibilities

  • Day\-to\-day servicing of a portfolio of SME businesses and their owners

  • Prepare financial statements, including monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

  • Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting

  • Maintain accounting records and prepare accounts and management information

  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance of accounts

  • Liaise with clients (individuals or businesses) and provide financial information and advice

  • Reconcile accounts including receivable and payable

  • Manage budgets

  • Ensure cashflow is utilised properly and protect reserves

  • Check financial information for inconsistencies

  • Provide tax planning strategies in accordance with existing legislation

  • Create financial forecasts and analyse risk

  • Understand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation

  • Production and analysis of VAT returns

  • Answering client queries and questions over email, phone and in person

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Payroll and CIS

  • Working to deadlines

  • Any other duties as required in order to assist the company achieve its objectives

  • Oversight and support for team members of apprentice, bookkeepers and accounts assistants

  • Preparation of tax returns

  • Company Secretarial services
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or other relevant software.

  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills for presenting financial information clearly to non\-financial stakeholders.

  • Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is an advantage.

  • A proactive approach to problem\-solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
