Account Manager (Corporate Sales) New Business
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To promote and sell Singapore Airlines (SIA) and SIA group products and services within UK and the Republic of Ireland. To efficiently grow revenue and market share by establishing and developing non\-contracted leads through multiple channels and converting them to HighFlyer accounts. Responsible for building relationships with new small and mid\-size enterprises(SME) \& Corporate clients.
DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for acquiring and developing new business leads from multiple channels, including Linkedin, internal databases, trade events, contacts and referrals, TMC ‘s and converting them to HighFlyer accounts.
- Develop relationships and manage revenue and market share performance within a growing account portfolio within the UK and Ireland including accountability to achieve key targets as assigned.
- Secure and grow new corporate accounts within UK and Ireland markets while using all available facilities to showcase SIA and SIA group’s product and benefits where relevant. Determine and maximise the opportunities to ensure effective growth from corporate acquisitions
- Cold call/email prospective clients to understand client needs and ways SIA can serve
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase new and existing business and market share within portfolio. Ensure the commitment of corporates to their deal target.
- Monitor and analyse sales figures and trends, investigate reasons for changes, inform key stakeholders, make recommendations and ensure corrective actions
- Build relationships with corporate clients and ensure they are up to date on latest promotions, pricing, and product via multiple channels – phone, email, face\-to\-face sales calls, in\-house staff events
- Work closely with the Corporate and Agency sales teams, where applicable, in relation to TMC performance, sharing account knowledge and development plan.
- Generate and analyse data using Tableau to manage revenue and market share performance of account portfolio within the UK and Ireland, with accountability to achieve key targets as assigned.
- Accountable for developing and growing revenue portfolio of Corporate clients to support UK/I POS.
- Draw up contracts for new business clients, liaising with the legal department where necessary.
- Be a key source of market intelligence on competitors, promotions, and market activities
- Provide regular reports on significant opportunities, activities, MI and portfolio performance including market share from your portfolio.
- Provide regular reports for external clients and weekly updates for internal meetings and presentations which provide a comprehensive view of account portfolio with reasons for performance.
- Maintain close relationships with key industry organisations to identify new business leads by way of annual subscription, event sponsorship, attending networking events, workshops etc. with the goal of growing premium revenue.
- Keep up to date on the latest SIA fares, product, schedule, and network info
- Prepare account plans and adjust periodically as needed
- Promote KrisFlyer Loyalty and HighFlyer Corporate programmes to corporate passengers with a view to increasing frequent flyer membership where relevant.
Other shared sales team duties
- Engage corporate travelers, all tiers of frequent flyer members to drive preference towards SIA.
- Represent SIA in industry events, trade shows, fairs, etc and lead Familiarisation Trips/aircraft visits
- Share B2C and B2B marketing materials created in a shared sales cloud for use by rest of the team
- Be well\-prepared for regular sales meetings

- Diligent, experienced Account manager who is target oriented and results driven, analytical, focused on strategic sales, able to work independently to ensure the achievement of respective sales targets.
- ·Submit updates and call plans and relevant account information in Sales Marketing Tool.
- Complete company training modules as per schedule. Undertaking scheduled and non\-scheduled training
- Participate/Undertake destination Familiarisation trips and aircraft/lounge tours
- ·Participate in Airport Support when required.
- Produce and analyze Tableau data systems and other sales intelligence (e.g. sales dashboards)
- Efficient verbal and written communication skills
- Has good computer skills and basic GDS knowledge
- Is tenacious, resourceful, results\-oriented, innovative
- Is flexible and readily available to resolve client issues with good negotiation skills and grow business through strong consultative selling skills
- Is highly personable; able to identify and build relationships within client organisations
- Is commercially minded, has excellent organisational skills and able to balance multiple client relationships
- Ability to meet deadlines in a stressful environment
- Meticulous attention to detail
- High degree of integrity
- Highly sensitive to local market conditions (e.g. shift in corporate client travel behaviour, competitor moves etc.)
- Is a team player
- Strong business and commercial acumen, airline or industry experience preferred in corporate sales with a sound knowledge of airline operations, fares, systems such as MIDT and SalesForce.com
- Ability to prepare and deliver PC/laptop/tablet\-based presentation to a captive audience
- Account management experience.

- Full UK drivers’ license
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
