Account Manager / Admin Coordinator Location: Wickford

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm, minimum 30 hours per week

A growing logistics and fulfilment business based in Wickford is looking to recruit an organised and confident Account Manager / Admin Coordinator to join their team. This role is heavily focused on client communication, coordination between customers and warehouse operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day account administration.

This position would suit someone with strong communication skills, previous administration or account management experience, and the ability to build relationships with international clients. Experience within logistics, fashion, warehousing, or supply chain environments would be highly beneficial. Salary can be increased for candidates with strong industry experience.

Key Responsibilities • Act as the main point of communication between customers and the warehouse team

  • Liaise with clients regarding shipping, packing, and dispatch instructions

  • Pass accurate customer instructions to warehouse teams efficiently

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders

  • Manage customer accounts and provide excellent client service

  • Oversee client declarations and shipment information using the company management platform

  • Extract and confirm order, dispatch, and receiving data from the ERP/management system

  • Produce end-of-month reports and support with general administration duties

  • Coordinate label collections and manage various client phone and email communications

  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally

  • Monitor account performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements • Strong communication skills with fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Confident dealing with UK and international clients

  • Previous administration, account management, customer service, or logistics experience preferred

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships

  • Organised with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable using ERP systems or willing to learn new software quickly

  • Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ideal Background Candidates from logistics, fashion warehousing, supply chain, freight, or fulfilment environments would be particularly well suited to this role.

For stronger candidates with relevant industry experience, salary flexibility is available.
