<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>We're hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for Modo Energy across the Americas. You'll run deals from first contact to close, managing complex, high-value contracts with energy investors, developers, and operators. This is a quota-carrying role with real scope - you'll be one of the early commercial voices in the US market as we scale.</p>

<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, demo, negotiation, and close</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Build and manage a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise accounts across the Americas</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Deliver compelling demos of the Modo Energy Terminal, connecting product capability directly to customer problems</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Negotiate and close deals valued between $40,000 and $200,000</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within your book of business</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Forecast accurately in HubSpot and maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Feed customer insight back into product and go-to-market strategy</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Represent Modo Energy at industry events, conferences, and client meetings</li>

<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, selling research, data, or analytics products to mid-market or enterprise customers</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proven quota attainment in a startup or scale-up environment</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience managing complex deal cycles at deal values consistent with this role</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Comfortable working autonomously and building pipeline without heavy SDR support</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Active use of AI tools is a core expectation of this role - for prospect research, outreach, call prep, and day-to-day efficiency. If you're not already doing this, this probably isn't the right fit.</li>

<h4><strong>Compensation &amp; Equal Opportunity</strong></h4>

<li>For New York Applicants, the salary range for this position is $110k - $190k (double OTE) per year.</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">The salary range listed reflects industry benchmarks for this role. Modo Energy's policy is to pay top of personal market - if you're exceptional, we'll make it work.</li>
