Accountabilities

  • Run discovery-led product demonstrations that connect the marketplace's capabilities to each retailer's specific purchasing workflow, business needs, and commercial objectives.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from proposal and commercial terms through objection handling, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and contract closure.

  • Build trusted relationships with prospective customers and clearly communicate the value of broader supplier access, competitive pricing, product selection, and marketplace efficiency.

  • Drive KYC and compliance processes through to completion, proactively following up on documentation and resolving onboarding obstacles without losing sales momentum.

  • Own the customer journey throughout the first 90 days, helping new accounts move from initial searches and quotations to their first orders and repeat purchases.

  • Focus on customer activation and long-term value rather than simply closing and handing off newly signed accounts.

  • Partner with SDRs to ensure strong qualification and effective handoffs before and after demonstrations.

  • Coordinate with Account Managers to provide detailed account context, purchasing patterns, opportunities, and potential risks ahead of the day-90 transition.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline stages, activity records, and forecasts, ensuring commercial reporting reflects the true state of opportunities.

  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including demo-to-close conversion, new business revenue, KYC completion time, 90-day activation, account value, and forecast accuracy.
Requirements
  • 3–6 years of proven experience in a closing sales role, ideally within a marketplace, transactional B2B/B2C platform, or the jewellery and diamond industry with meaningful commercial exposure.

  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including liquidity, supply breadth, customer trust, transaction mechanics, and the importance of driving an initial transaction to establish long-term purchasing behaviour.

  • Experience selling solutions based on customer workflows and business outcomes rather than relying on feature-led product presentations.

  • Excellent discovery, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.

  • Commercially minded and comfortable managing pricing discussions, contractual terms, and pushback from customers and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong operational discipline and willingness to own post-sale activities such as KYC, compliance, onboarding, and activation.

  • Ability to manage a pipeline effectively, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasts in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build credible, long-term relationships with businesses of different sizes.

  • Strong ownership, resilience, adaptability, and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain momentum across multiple deals and customer journeys.

  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with international customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed, low-hierarchy environment where initiative and measurable impact are highly valued.
Benefits
  • Flexible working hours designed to support autonomy and effective performance.

  • Fully remote working environment.

  • Unlimited holiday allowance.

  • Opportunities for professional growth, continuous learning, and skills development.

  • Opportunity to join a rapidly scaling global business during a significant phase of expansion.

  • Dynamic, collaborative, and intellectually challenging work environment.

  • Low-hierarchy culture with significant autonomy and ownership.

  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact on customer growth, revenue, and business scalability.

  • International and globally distributed team offering exposure to diverse markets and customers.
