The Role
As Accommodation Manager, you will oversee the day\-to\-day running of our accommodation operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly across reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
You’ll be a hands\-on leader who enjoys working closely with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
\> Oversee all aspects of accommodation operations, including reception, housekeeping, and maintenance
\> Lead, motivate, and support the accommodation team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
\> Welcome guests and manage check\-ins and check\-outs in a warm and professional manner
\> Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints efficiently and positively
\> Carry out regular inspections of guest rooms and communal areas to maintain the highest standards
\> Work closely with housekeeping to ensure timely room turnaround and excellent cleanliness standards
\> Implement and maintain operational procedures to continually improve service quality
\> Coordinate with other departments across the Hall to ensure smooth day\-to\-day operations
\> Monitor budgets, forecasting, and cost controls to support business performance
\> Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal requirements
\> Organise staff rotas, training sessions, and team meetings
\> Help create a positive and supportive working environment where the team can thrive
\> Uphold and promote the welcoming and unique values of Samlesbury Hall
\> Promotion of the Accommodation, ensuring our offer is consistently marketed.
What We’re Looking For
\> Previous experience in accommodation or hospitality management
\> Strong leadership and team management skills
\> Excellent customer service and communication abilities
\> A proactive and organised approach to problem solving
\> High attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
\> Confidence using accommodation and booking software systems
\> The ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy environment
\> A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable stays for guests
\> Experience in marketing accommodation

Working Hours
This is a full\-time role, minimum 40 hours per week, including most weekends as part of the hospitality industry.
