Access Engineer - Workshop

Green Power Plant Hire is a family\-run business and a leader in the UK plant hire industry. Since 2012, we’ve built a reputation for reliability and excellence in service. We are now seeking a skilled and flexible Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team, maintaining and repairing plant machinery on\-site to ensure minimal downtime for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PDI inspections to a high standard
- Service and maintain access equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used and time taken.
- Collaborate with the operations team to prioritise and schedule equipment repairs.
- Ensure the workshop is clean, organised, and adheres to health and safety standards.
- Assist with testing and commissioning equipment after repairs or servicing.
· Reliable, hardworking with good timekeeping and good time management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail, diligent and safety conscious
· Ability to take and follow specific instructions
· Positive can do attitude with the ability to work well individually or as part of a team
