The Role

We are looking for a recently qualified ACCA or ACA accountant, who has completed their training contract, to join our audit team as an Audit Senior. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and develop quickly with a clear pathway to Audit Manager for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio

  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback

  • Develop audit strategies, risk assessments and audit programmes tailored to each client

  • Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses and recommend improvements

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients during engagements, building strong working relationships

  • Prepare and present audit reports with clear findings and practical recommendations

  • Ensure all audit files and working papers are complete and properly documented

  • Stay current with developments in auditing and accounting standards
What We're Looking For
  • Recently qualified ACCA or ACA — training contract completed

  • Audit experience gained during your training contract in a practice environment

  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and Irish GAAP / IFRS

  • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients

  • Organised and self\-motivated, able to manage your own workload and deadlines

  • Full driving licence an advantage given client site visits

  • Salary €40,000 – €50,000 depending on experience
