Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Academic Sales Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting educational programmes and services to potential clients, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for education and sales, who are organised, communicative, and customer\-focused. The position involves engaging with educational institutions, parents, and students to understand their needs and present suitable solutions effectively. A valid driving licence and experience in B2B sales are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and engage prospective clients within the education sector.

  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of our academic programmes to schools, colleges, and other educational organisations.

  • Negotiate terms of sale, ensuring mutual benefit and fostering long\-term relationships.

  • Manage a pipeline of leads through effective follow\-up and relationship management.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow\-up actions using organisational tools.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and ongoing support.

  • Drive utilisation of digital tools and IT systems to optimise sales processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the education or training sectors.

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Valid driving licence with the ability to travel as required.

  • Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting relationships.

  • Good IT skills including familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office suite, and online presentation tools.

  • Effective time management and organisational skills to handle multiple clients simultaneously.

  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to team objectives. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast\-paced environment, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and are committed to delivering outstanding educational solutions to clients.
Pay: £39,999\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Manchester
