Our client, a leading managed technology and communications provider, is hiring a 3rd Line Support Engineer / Team Lead to support and develop a growing technical support function across the UK.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of experienced 3rd Line Engineers while remaining hands-on technically, acting as a senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and support issues. You’ll play a key role in mentoring engineers, driving service excellence, and helping shape the future of the support function.
What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor a team of 3rd Line Engineers
- Act as the senior escalation point for technical issues across the UK support teams
- Manage and resolve complex 3rd Line support tickets
- Support infrastructure environments across Microsoft technologies, networking, and cloud services
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and support processes
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in a 3rd Line Support or Senior Infrastructure Support role
- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong troubleshooting experience across Microsoft environments, servers, networking, and cloud technologies
- Experience working within an MSP or fast-paced support environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
