3rd Engineer (3/E) | Container Vessel

Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping all machinery running safely and efficiently on international voyages.

• Key responsibilities:


• + Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliary engines

+ Carry out planned and corrective maintenance for engine room machinery
+ Monitor and record engine room parameters and report any irregularities
+ Assist with bunkering operations and fuel oil transfers
+ Ensure engine room safety, good housekeeping and compliance with procedures
+ Support implementation of company, flag and class requirements

• Requirements:


• + Valid 3rd Engineer CoC, meeting STCW requirements for container vessels

+ Previous experience as 3/E or 4/E on seagoing vessels preferred
+ Valid STCW basic and advanced safety training certificates
+ Good English communication skills
+ Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
