Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping the vessel’s machinery safe, efficient, and ready for sea at all times.

  • Key responsibilities:

+ Assist Chief Engineer in day\-to\-day engine room operations and maintenance
+ Monitor and maintain main engine, auxiliaries, and related systems
+ Supervise engine room ratings and ensure safe work practices
+ Carry out planned maintenance and keep engine room records updated
+ Assist with bunkering, fuel transfers, and pollution prevention measures
+ Support safe and efficient vessel operation during sea passages and port calls
  • Requirements:

+ Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2\) CoC for seagoing ships
+ Experience as 2/E on bulk carriers preferred
+ Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
+ Good English communication skills
+ Strong safety mindset and team spirit
