24 hour Childcare Support Worker

Childcare Support Worker Job Description:

Duties:

24 hour shifts only for full or bank work
\- Activity based provider which support the young person to participate in attending activities such as go\-karting, theme parks, ice skating and many other activities that interest the young person

\- Assist and support independent living with household tasks
\- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
\- Monitor and document individual progress and behaviour
\- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
\- Ensure the safety and well\-being of individuals at all times

Experience:
\- Previous experience working with individuals within the social care is preferred but not essential
\- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with disabilities
\- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations

Pay: £13\.25 per hour

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Social Care: 1 year (preferred)


• Residential Crisis Support: 1 year (preferred)


• Support Worker: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• DBS (required)


• Manual Driving Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)
