Location: Weston Super Mare

The Role

We are looking for people with an experience in Learning Disability and Mental Health support.

Provide person\-centred support towards independence by providing a therapeutic, structured service consistent with individual preferences and abilities through facilitation of engagement in social interactions and community activities.

Our Support Worker will:

• Have proven previous experience in working with people with Learning Disability and Mental health and various complex needs


• Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)


• Be creative and responsive in daily support while adhering to person centred care plans and individual’s goals


• Be able to support in house and outside social activities and hobbies


• Be attentive and inspire our people supported to achieve more


• Be resilient and help manage some behaviours that challenge


• Be a team player and good record keeper


• Ability to carry out house\-keeping and food preparation

• Proven experience in Health and Social Care sector


• A person\-centred approach and ability to work as a part of team


• Ability to plan for yourself and others


• Manage time effectively, prioritising workloads


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English


• IT literate and confident to use IT for record keeping
