I am working with a Primary School in Selly Oak, B29 which is welcoming and inclusive. It has a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, a nurturing environment and commitment to supporting every child's individual needs. The school has a collaborative team and a strong SEN support ethos, making it a fantastic place to develop your experience.

Your new role

  • Part-time role - 5 mornings per week

  • Supporting 2 pupils in Year 4 (1:2 support) who have SSPP and EHCP's

  • Based within the classroom, with responsibility for taking pupils out for sensory breaks when needed

  • Opportunity to start ASAP, continuing into September

What you'll need to succeed
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE)

  • Experience working within a primary school setting

  • KS2 experience desirable

  • A calm, patient and proactive approach

  • Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
