1:1 Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a Primary School in Ipswich, starting ASAP.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS • Location - Ipswich

• Position - 1:1 Teaching Assistant


• Contract or position start date - ASAP


• Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing, with potential to continue into the new academic year


• Contract type - Long-Term Temporary


• Full time/part time - Full time


• Minimum rate of pay - Approximately £90-£100 per day


• Hours - 8.30am - 3.00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Previous experience supporting children 1:1 (preferred)

• Experience working with SEND is desirable


• GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or above

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one


• Provide two professional, child-related references
