As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally.
- Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.
- Implement effective interventions and support plans tailored to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and resilience in students through engaging activities.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to evaluate and adapt teaching approaches.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- An understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A relevant qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
