1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Newmarket - Start Date September

Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Newmarket, starting September. This is an excellent ongoing opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.

The school is looking for a patient, proactive practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

CONTRACT DETAILS • Location - Newmarket

• Position - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant


• Type of work - 1:1 support


• Start date - September


• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term


• Full time/part-time - Full time


• Minimum rate of pay - £95-£110 per day


• Hours - 8:50 am - 3:15 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Experience supporting children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience)

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection


• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one


• Provide two professional child-related references
